World War I US, Style 2, "Dawn Patrol" Pilot 2
.
This is one of four Allied aviators we created for the "Dawn Patrol" series for High Flight Magazine. Typical Allied fighter pilot straining to see over the cowl, this guy was originally made to fit in the Balsa USA Nieuport 28. This guy is ready to scramble to dogfight the Hun screaming towards the aerodrome out of the rising sun. The pilot is made of durable resin and is hollow cast to ensure he is flight worthy. The pilot is shipped unpainted ready for you to paint and will accept both enamel and acrylic paints. Click on the gallery button above to see a pilot painted one of our world renown artists.
